Manga publisher Tokyopop also released a two-volume graphic novel adaptation of Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. The story was based on the original Castlevania: The Adventure for Game Boy and followed Christopher Belmont through his adventures.
In 2005, a 5-issue comic book adaptation called "Castlevania: The Belmont Legacy" was released by IDW Publishing.
